Improve your smile with these basic oral health care tips. Let us tell you, step by step, what you need to do to show off your radiant teeth.
"The most wasted day of all is one without smiles," said poet Edward Estlin Cummings. No one doubts the power and importance of this gesture. A sincere and beautiful smile is synonymous with courtesy, happiness, love and also health.
Having healthy teeth is one of the most important points in any beauty manual. Let us make it easy for you and list what you can not miss if you want to get a "red carpet" smile.
Oral hygiene
Brush your teeth at least twice a day and use dental floss to remove plaque that may remain between the teeth and under the gums. If this plaque is not removed, it will become harder and end up turning into tartar.
Use a good toothpaste
Today there are many options on the market, from toothpastes made with charcoal to whiten teeth to chemical-free toothpastes. Choose the one you feel most comfortable with. Check the labels to evaluate each one well.
Good nutrition
Limit the consumption of sugars and dark drinks, such as red wine or coffee. Of course, if you want to have radiant teeth, you should avoid smoking.
Visit your dentist regularly
Ideally see the dentist every six months for a general cleaning. Obviously, you should reduce the time between visits if you have any problems with cavities, gums, etc.
Teeth whitening
If at some point you choose to resort to this technique, choose a good professional or product, as the benefits are many, but there are also risks related to tooth sensitivity.
Ready? Now enjoy the pleasure of smiling!
