These 4 smoothie and juice recipes are perfect for hot days. Not only that, they are also nutritious and will help you stay in shape. Here are the recipes! Take note!
Summer is just around the corner! With the arrival of hot days, we crave fresher foods that help quench our thirst and withstand high temperatures. What better than opting for some delicious smoothies or natural juices? These are a healthy and tasty snack to refresh ourselves, very easy to make, and provide us with fiber, water, vitamins, and minerals. Moreover, they are ideal for consumption at any time of the day, as they digest very well.
Try to consume them immediately after preparing them, but if you can’t, prepare them beforehand, and store them in the refrigerator, in a stainless-steel container with a lid, to maintain all the nutrients. We can consume them at room temperature or cold, adding a couple of ice cubes or leaving the fruits in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before making the juice or smoothie.
Tip: To make the smoothies creamier, try blending the liquid ingredients with the green leaves first, and then add the fruits and any extra ingredients you want to add.
This one is perfect for mornings if you don’t have much time for breakfast, especially if you’re not used to eating raw foods, as digestion is always slower in the afternoon.
Ingredients
Half a banana
1 stalk of celery
1/4 cup chopped spinach
1/2 cup pineapple
1 cup water
Preparation
Clean the ingredients well. First, mix the water, celery, and spinach in the blender until creamy. Then, add the banana and pineapple and continue blending.
Ideal for athletes. This açaí smoothie, loaded with nutrients, will provide us with antioxidants, vitamins, and amino acids that can help combat cellular aging. Plus, if you add a tablespoon of vanilla-flavored protein powder (it’s the flavor that goes best), it will help your muscles recover after a tough workout. Note: If you don’t want to take the protein like this, you can substitute it with spinach or kale.
Ingredients
1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons açaí ice cream
1/2 Banana
1/4 strawberries
A teaspoon of chia (leave it in the water for at least 15 minutes to become viscous)
Preparation
First, mix the almond milk with the açaí (or spinach if you’re using them as a substitute). Then, add the strawberries, banana, and finally the chia. Mix well, and enjoy!
If, besides refreshing yourself, you also want to boost your immune system, this juice will give you an extra dose of vitamin C.

And since it can’t all be green… here’s the recipe for a delicious chocolate smoothie, perfect for those of us with a sweet tooth.
