Whether you want a physical or digital one, here’s how to make the perfect vision board for 2025.
2025 is around the corner! If you haven’t started preparing for the new year, don’t worry—we’re here to help you ease into new beginnings with intention and gratitude.
Does it sound like a challenge? We get it, amigues. Sometimes, New Year’s Day can bring heavy feelings like anxiety. As Latinas, we often think about the past year's mishaps instead of focusing on the positive things we’ve experienced. But what can we change? That’s right—our present and how we set ourselves up for the future. At the end of the day, it’s all about focusing on the now rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
So, for 2025, why not manifest the outcomes you want in life? As cliché as it sounds, no dream is too big or out of reach. With reminders like a vision board, you can take steps closer to making those dreams a reality. Pues, what are you waiting for?
Here’s how to make a vision board for 2025.
Before diving into making a physical or digital vision board, take a moment to think about what you’re going to include on it. To manifest something, you have to be intentional and clear about what you want to bring into your life.
Start with your daily life. What do you want to add to it? How do you envision your ideal routine? For example, I imagine exercise, productivity, and a fun hobby as part of my everyday life. To be more intentional, I think of my favorite workouts, the type of work I enjoy, and the hobbies I’d like to explore in 2025. My vision board might include images of cycling classes, tennis, hiking, writing, visiting museums, and cooking.
Take it a step further—what bigger dreams do you have for 2025? Do you want to travel more? If so, which city or country? Add a specific image of the location you want to visit to your board. Dreaming of having a baby? Add a baby image! Hoping for an engagement or wedding? Add a picture of your dream ring or wedding dress. You get the idea!
It doesn’t all have to be life-changing goals like getting married or traveling to Japan. You can include smaller aspirations, like the type of clothes you want to wear or the dates you’d like to go on. Words, mantras, and affirmations can also be powerful tools for manifesting your dream life.
Though it may sound tedious, it’s essential to be clear about what you actually want.
These are all ideas for the images and words you’ll use in the next step.
There are multiple ways to create a physical vision board. One simple method is printing images that resonate with your goals and arranging them creatively. You’ll need a canvas, printed images, push pins, glue or tape, and scissors. You can also use magazines, personal photos, or postcards to bring your vision to life.
Another option is to make a digital vision board (details below) and print it to display in your space.
Not into crafts? No worries! If you’re like me and prefer digital tools, making an online vision board is just as effective. Applications like Canva are perfect for this.
Canva offers templates (both free and premium) designed specifically for vision boards, making the process straightforward and mess-free. Simply search for images online that represent your goals, download them, and upload them into Canva.
Other great apps for digital vision boards include Procreate and Pinterest.
If you want a physical version of your digital board, save your project, print it out, and display it somewhere you’ll see every day!
What kind of vision board will you create for 2025?
