Cazzu's bond with La Joaqui proves how powerful true friendship can be when life gets tough. Read on to see how their sisterhood is helping her stay strong.
Cazzu is navigating this season of her life with a lot of support. Though her romantic struggles have been in the public eye these past months, the Argentine rapper is pushing through, thanks to the help of close friends, including Argentine singer La Joaqui.
Since news broke about her baby’s father, Christian Nodal, and his relationship with Mexican singer Ángela Aguilar, Cazzu’s life turned upside down overnight. In a recent interview with the Argentine media outlet “PLP,” Cazzu opened up about the situation with the hosts, including La Joaqui – making for an interview as emotional as it was inspirational.
In the chat, the “Gatita Gangster” rapper discussed her challenging birth experience, motherhood, and how she felt after being blindsided by Nodal and Aguilar’s relationship, especially following Aguilar’s recent interview with ABC News Live. Beyond the unique perspective Cazzu shared, what stood out most was the empathy La Joaqui showed her best friend.
After discussing these deeply personal topics, Cazzu and La Joaqui became emotional, reflecting on how they’ve supported each other through tough times. “We have come out of horrible, very hard places, and it saddens me to remember the situations where I had to get my friend out. And it saddens her more to remember where she had to come and get me. I love you,” Cazzu told La Joaqui in Spanish as they cried together. Their vulnerability demonstrated what true friendship is all about.
The interview was handled with delicacy. As a best friend, La Joaqui has witnessed Cazzu’s private struggles firsthand. As the show’s host, she created a safe space for Cazzu to open on a public platform. Overall, the interview underscored the importance of having close friends within and beyond the public eye.
With La Joaqui’s support, Cazzu could finally share her side – a perspective she expressed thoroughly. At the end of the interview, she shared a heartfelt plea: “Don’t lie about me, don’t talk about my feelings, don’t talk about me anymore. Please. If not for me, do it for my daughter,” she told the media outlet.
What are your thoughts on Cazzu and La Joaqui's friendship in the face of adversity? Do you have a friendship like that in your life?
