Let’s celebrate Black History Month by following these incredible Afro-Latina social media content creators!

Black History Month is upon us! While many celebrate by highlighting famous Afro-Latinas across the entertainment spectrum, like Celia Cruz, Cardi B, and Zoe Saldaña, that’s just scratching the surface. To amplify even more incredible Afro-Latinas, we are showcasing content creators who use their platforms to represent their heritage and share beauty tips with their followers.

One of the things we love about social media is how it connects us with other Latinas whose lives are different from ours. As a Mexican journalist, I’m always curious to explore the experiences and norms of other Latinas. At the end of the day, it’s no lie when we say Latinos aren’t a monolith. Each region carries its own traditions, from slang to hair care, and there’s so much to explore. What better way to dive into this diversity than by following daily vlogs, beauty tips, and travel adventures on social media?

Curious to learn more about creative Afro-Latinas who take their followers on inspiring journeys? Here are three Afro-Latina content creators you should follow and why:
